#Nigeria: Presidential Panel set to investigate Magu.

News making the rounds on social media indicates that a 7man presidential panel had been set up to investigate allegations of discrepancies in the reconciliation of financial records of the EFCC and other alleged offences against the acting Chairman of Nigeria's Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, in the person of Ibrahim Magu. 

The panel is headed by a retired Justice of Nigeria's Court of Appeal, Justice Ayo Salami. 

You may wish to know that Nigeria's upper legislative arm, the Senate had continuously refused to confirm, Ibrahim Magu as the substantial Chairman of the EFCC but Nigeria's President, Buhari refused to re-submit the name of another candidate to the Senate and kept Magu on the job in acting capacity.
