Nigeria: VP Osinbajo writes IGP over allegations by a blogger.

The Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo SAN, according to reports on social media petitioned the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, NPM, mni requesting that the allegations brought against his person by popular blogger, Mr. Jackson Ude of point blank news be investigated. 

Mr Jackson Ude according to the petition had published on his blog site and Twitter handle that the embattled Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Chairman, Ibrahim Magu while being investigated told the investigators that he, Magu gave #4billion to the Vice President out of the #39billion he was alledged to have embezzled. 

The Solicitors to the Vice President are therefore requesting that the matter be investigated and if found untrue, that the blogger be prosecuted for criminal defarmation.
