Sowore and Dasuki released by the DSS...

Nigerian popular Journalist Omoyele Sowore, founder of the online platform, Sahara Reporters, has been reportedly released by the Nigerian Department of State Security Services, he was arrested for calling for a nation wide protest tagged "Revolution Now". Also released from detention was former Nigerian National Security Adviser, NSA during the era of former President Goodluck Jonathan, Col. Sambo Dasuki. 

On his part, Sambo has been in detention for the past 4 years on an allegation of corruption, bordering on the use of the money meant for the purchase of military equipment during his period as NSA. 
Nigerian Courts had earlier on granted bail to the accused which the Nigerian Authorities allegedly refused to obey. 

The latest development according to social media commentators was allegedly as a result of pressures from the United States Government and a letter addressed to the Nigerian Attorney General by some US Senators and Congressmen.
