The Rotary Clubs of Okigwe and Ukwunwangwu held the Rotary Foundation Health Days at Ndundu Village in Uturu, Isuikwuato Local Government of Abia State.
The event which took place at Iheagu Town Hall attracted many residents of even the nearby communities. It was jointly organized by the Rotary Club of Okigwe and the Rotary Club of Ukwunwangwu both under district 9142.
Activities of the day, included a health talk and counselling by Rtn Dr. Odochi Emeonye, Council Member, College of Health Technology, Abia State.
Blood Pressure checks, Blood Sugar Level, Malaria Tests etc. Medical Consultations and Treatment of common diseases by a team of medical expert,. Distribution of Mosquito Nets, Sanitary Pads etc
Many Rotarians from both Clubs attended the event ably led by the ever articulate two times President of the Rotary Club of Okigwe, Rtn Sarah Ihedigbo and her fellow Pathfinder President, Rtn Samuel of Rotary Club of Ukwunwangwu.
